Consumer Critiques
There are a lot of items I would need to have to add if I didn't already personal them (for example headlamps, katahdin water filter, solar charger, chemical hand/body warmers, significantly more light sticks, at least 100' of parachute cord, much even more very first/aid medical supplies, high protein bars, heavy duty knife,wenger multi-tool, .40 glock, and so on.) but this kit is a very good value for the value. I would have offered 5 stars if it included a more substantial medical kit- the 1 included undoubtedly does not meet my minimum recommendation.
The items are all of great quality, like the gas turnoff and pry bar tools, the chemical toilet items, etc. which can be really significant in urban conditions.
When I opened the container and layed out all the items for examination, I did discover a bit of odor from the chemical bag for the toilet waste treatment. I hope it will not impact the edibles.
As another reviewer mentioned, the aqua pure water therapy tablets are a high good quality addition.
All in all, properly worth the cash while at minimal you will need to undoubtedly supplement the medical supplies. And maintain in mind the packaged food and water has an official shelf life of 5 years only.
The shipping does hurt($22 in my case).
I enjoy this kit~ Had a fine mix of what you'd need to have to keep alive in an emergency and I loved the fact that the container turns into a chemical toilet. I appreciate the reality that it also contains items that various prepackaged kits leave out- like duct tape, radio, pry bar and water purification tablets. I was also amazed by how rapidly the item shipped and arrived. At 1st I was hesitant to order given that it wasn't on Prime, on the other hand my order shipped within an hour of being placed and arrived secure and sound in just a handful of days.
